Project Based Learning

This week my Teacher (Koka Ngaire) choose 5 groups of 3 people to make up a project in our groups. 

My group is made up of Me,(Rio) Ivy and Charlotte A, our name is The Troublemakers.

For our project we are planning to create a wall with books wrapped in paper with little clues saying things like mystery and magic depending on what type of book it is and once people have read the book they can take the cover off the book and reveal what the book is called!

We are calling our project the "Mystery Library" because the book that you pick is a mystery!

The reason we are doing this project is because we don't want people to judge books by their cover and also people actually like the book/s that they read and get them reading books they never would have thought to read!

Inter school Netball...or not ...

Kia ora,I am writing to you from school in my Netball t-shirt waiting for Koka Leah to say to get ready for Inter school Netball!!!!!

I am so excited! We are facing Kaiti School - last Friday we faced Awapuni (I saw my cousin Awa there because he goes to Awapuni school).

Oh no! It's raining! I hope our Inter school Netball game doesn't get canceled or postponed because the Inter school Rugby team got canceled due to rain. Sorry got to go to morning tea now - talk later. 

GUESS WHAT!!!the Inter school Netball game got postponed to Monday!!!

Well at least the game wasn't canceled like the Rugby team  

Well at least I'm playing saturday Netball too though.

Kaiti Won With 12 Goals and My team Wainui Came second with 8 goals. Janine (our coach) put me as center for 2 quarters and put me off for 2  quarters.

I entered backstroke and breaststroke 

I had to wait for a while until my race was up but it wasn't long till it was up. I jumped in the pool,on your marks koka Rozie said beep she pushed the buzzer I swam as fast as I could ,I came 3rd place so I go to the finals I was so excited !!!

Now I have to wait about an hour until my next race. Finally my race is up, I stood up on the stand, on your mark Koka Rozie said beep she pushed the buzzer I swam pretty fast but  I'm obviously not fast enough yet but I'll improve for next year.

In the finals for backstroke I came 2nd to last.
On the bus ride back I sat next to Charlotte A
